Kevin Falcon has officially joined the Liberal leadership race.
Falcon made the announcement in his own riding of Surrey-Cloverdale, with plans to immediately hop on a plane to Prince George where he will address rural supporters, some of whom have started a 'North Needs Kevin' campaign gunning to put the current health minister and long-time cabinet member in the Premier's seat.
Falcon made the announcement at the Surrey Museum in front of about 200 people. He told the crowd he would propose a one per cent cut in the HST in 2011, plus another on per cent cut when provincial revenues allow.
