All six Liberal leadership candidates say they support the HST, as they lay out their plans for the province's future for business leaders.
The candidates are gathered at a sold out B.C. Chamber of Commerce meeting where they're weighing in on issues such as transportation, energy policy and taxes.
All of them say they support the controversial tax and agree that more information needs to get out to the public before a referendum on the levy later this year.
But Moira Stilwell says chamber members and the rest of B.C. free enterprise has to take on the job of selling the tax it wants to keep.
Christy Clark told the crowd that the public felt left out of the HST conversation, and if the Liberals are going to win the next election they are going to have to show the government is listening.
Kevin Falcon and Mike de Jong both agree the public needs more information about the HST before next September's referendum.
