On Sunday, June 30th, 2013, 16 home cooks of different ethnic backgrounds offer you tastes of their family comfort foods at this third annual international food fair held at the UBC Farm. While gnoshing, you’ll also enjoy live music, fun farm activities and more.
Conceived by Meeru Dhalwala -- co-founder of Vij’s, cookbook author, and a past Tyee Master Class instructor -- Joy of Feeding donates 100 per cent of proceeds to support the local sustainability programming at UBC Farm.
Three lucky Tyee readers will each win a pair of tickets ($100 value.) Each ticket includes a souvenir guide with recipes for all 16 dishes.
All you have to do for your chance to win is fill out the form below and tell us what your favourite family comfort food is (either from your childhood, a current family classic, or both.)
If you’re feeling really ambitious, you can also submit a recipe, and become eligible for the grand prize: four tickets to Joy of Feeding , acknowledgement from the main stage of the event, and publication of your recipe on The Tyee.
