While most candidates in the 2011 election are routinely tweeting and posting on Facebook, the North Vancouver Liberal campaign is liveblogging the all-candidates meetings -- a step no other candidates appear to have taken.
Taleeb Noormohamed's live blogs include Monday night's meeting at Mount Seymour United Church and today's late-morning meeting with students at Argyle Secondary.
A quick survey of other B.C. candidates' websites showed nothing similar. Conservative candidates like Deborah Meredith and Irene Yatco tend to have standardized sites. Liberal candidates like Ujjal Dosanjh haven't liveblogged any of their events. Fin Donnelly of the NDP is blogging, and listing all-candidates' meetings but not liveblogging them. The only Green Party blog appears to be Elizabeth May's, last updated on April 12.
Greg Wilson, campaign co-chair for Noormohamed, told The Tyee: "I don't think anybody else in B.C. is liveblogging."
