Worker dies after fall at Gordon Campbell's vacation home

A worker has died after falling through a skylight at the vacation home of former B.C. premier Gordon Campbell.

WorkSafeBC and the coroner confirm the man died in hospital at least one day after the fall, July 4, at the property in Halfmoon Bay, on B.C.'s Sunshine Coast, about 80 kilometres northwest of Vancouver.

The man was working on renovations to the home when the accident occurred.

An investigation is underway.

WorkSafeBC has not released the name of the victim or any other details.
