On the way to pick up pizza for the Tyee staff I ran into condominium marketing king Bob Rennie, headed towards the Campagnolo restaurant on Main where the enthusiastic backer of Christy Clark often hangs out. Who does he think will win?

"What was a coronation has turned into a real election," he said. "I think the Liberals will eke it out."

The time was 7:45 pm, 15 minutes before the closing of the polls. He said his direct line to Liberal headquarters was informing him that the Liberals and NDP were within a couple points of each other.

Wasn't able to pump him for more insights. The pizza was getting cold.
