As Tyee's film reviewer Dorothy Woodend noted this week, some of the most interesting experiences on offer at Vancouver's film festival this year aren't actually films. That includes Vancouver artist Stan Douglas's collaboration with the National Film Board Circa 1948, on exhibition now at SFU Woodwards.
The "interactive storyworld" exists in two formats: a 3D art app for phones and tablets, and a projection-mapped installation. It's joined by two other three-dimensional exhibits, all free when you book a tour through the Hidden Pasts, Digital Futures event page.
