Is ‘Fire and Fury’ To Be Trusted? An Interview with Author Michael Wolff

Talking the hot Trump book on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Submitted by Tyee Staff, 11 Jan 2018

You better believe it, says author Michael Wolff.

His book Fire and Fury invites readers into President Trump’s White House, and readers and media have been drooling over its juicy details, from the serious (“treasonous” Russia connections) to the absurd (Trump’s love for McDonald’s).

Is Wolff’s access and reporting too good to be true? Crawford Kilian criticized Wolff’s interview methods and “sheer lack of documentation” in his Tyee review, while others respect that “sometimes you need a rat to catch a rat.”

Hear from Wolff himself in this Late Show interview.
