Welcome to Tyee’s reader poll.

Tell Us a Summer Story, Whether It’s a Lazy One, or an Adventure

We’ve been excerpting from The Summer Book anthology here at the Tyee, a compendium of 24 authors’ reflections on nature and the human spirit. It’s inspired by summertime in B.C., with pieces on fishing, boating, and skinny dipping.

We’d love for you to tell us a summer story of your own, whether it’s an old memory or a new one.

Is there a summer ritual you wait for all year? Or a romance from a summer you can’t forget? Did your story happen on a sun-soaked day? Or a sticky evening? Did you go on a summer adventure somewhere new? Or did you stay at home and not move at all? Who were your companions? Or were you alone?

Flex your writing muscles, send us something short and sweet, and we’ll publish a few of them before the summer ends.
