Canada’s next federal election is coming up in a few short months. That means for journalists, it’s go time. When The Tyee team sat down to plan our election reporting for the year, we decided to take a different tack than media typically do. Instead of letting political parties, polls, and spin doctors drive the agenda, we’re putting readers in charge. We spent a month surveying our readers to get a sense of what questions you want us to tackle this election season. We received thousands of responses, and the result is a truly co-developed election reporting plan that will keep your issues front and centre. (But of course, we’ll do much more beyond answering your Qs!) Now, we need reader support to make this plan a reality. If you haven’t already, please join hundreds of other Tyee readers in supporting our election reporting. Our target is $60,000 by June 24. So, we want to know what you think. Which of these questions are you most interested in getting some answers to in the upcoming election? * Please note that all poll answers will be publicly viewable, but anonymous. Fill out this week's poll. Please note that Tyee Barometer polls are only intended as a quick and engaging non-scientific snapshot of our readers' opinions on various topics that fit with The Tyee's very broad editorial mandate. They are not intended to be seen as a representative sampling of BC opinion.
