CONTEST: Win Tickets to ‘East Van Panto: Hercules’

One lucky Tyee reader will receive a family pack of tickets to The Cultch’s annual holiday production, plus a gift card to Bombay Kitchen.

The Cultch 20 Oct 2026The Tyee

East Van’s wackiest, joyfully subversive and family-friendly tradition returns for its 14th year! The Cultch presents Theatre Replacement’s East Van Panto: Hercules at the York Theatre from Nov. 18 to Jan. 10.

Deep under the streets of Vancouver, Hades — God of the No-Fun-Derworld — is digging his way to power with his newest megaproject. Standing in his way is his nephew, the reluctant hero Hercules, who could save the day... if he weren’t too busy tackling his Labours while chiselling away at his own statuesque physique! When Hades schemes to seize Science World and turn it into a gleaming shrine to outdated masculinity, Herc is put to the ultimate test. Can he overcome his personal trials before Hades flexes his way to total domination?

Get ready for a rip-roaring, myth-busting, protein-shaking panto packed with laughter, music and East Van magic!

We’re giving one lucky winner a family night out. Enter for a chance to win one Panto Family Pack (four premium tickets — two adult and two child) and a $50 gift certificate to Bombay Kitchen + Bar.
