Tyee Poll: What Kind of Stories Have Been Helping You Stay Grounded?

We’re all a bit fatigued from reading about COVID-19. Keeping up morale in today’s often bleak news world is not an easy feat, and trying to stay grounded is harder some days than others. We need things to hold us together.

For a lot of us, that’s personal exchanges, engagement and dialogue.

A few weeks ago, we launched the online interview series Three Things, where we stream a weekly interview with a member of the Tyee team so our readers can get a little closer to the things on our minds these days. We kicked off the series with outreach manager Emma Cooper interviewing reporter Chris Cheung, followed by culture editor Dorothy Woodend and education and youth reporter Katie Hyslop. This week, they will interview publisher Jeanette Ageson.

As you learn more about us, we also want to learn more about you. So we want to ask:

What kind of stories have been helping you stay grounded?

* Please note that all poll answers will be publicly viewable, but anonymous.

Please note that Tyee Barometer polls are only intended as a quick and engaging non-scientific snapshot of our readers' opinions on various topics that fit with The Tyee's very broad editorial mandate. They are not intended to be seen as a representative sampling of BC opinion.
