PRINCE GEORGE – Premier Gordon Campbell says he hasn't spoken to his former campaign chairman Patrick Kinsella in ages.
But he says if Kinsella – who has been the target of a series of attacks by the New Democratic Party – wants to join the main Liberal campaign he's welcome.
Kinsella is reportedly working somewhere for the Liberals in the May 12th election, but Campbell says he's not on the main campaign team.
In the weeks leading up to the election, the New Democrats asked pointed questions about Kinsella's role in the government's sale of Crown-owned BC Rail.
But Campbell and Attorney General Wally Oppal refused to answer, saying the BC Rail case is before the courts as part of a corruption trial involving three former Liberal government aides.
The NDP says Kinsella was also involved with several other government agencies and ministries but the Liberals also refused to answer questions, even though the New Democrats said those activities had nothing to do with the BC Rail court case.
Dirk Meissner reports for The Canadian Press.

It is a natural.
Why wouldn't one person who lies be more comfortable with others of the same persuasion. It is fitting for this government is it not?

Don't worry, Patrick will be
Don't worry, Patrick will be taken care of. If things get too hot, he'll just 'leave town' for awhile. Maybe he'll end up in Alberta or even Ottawa until things blow over.

A review of a CBC film from the 1970s concerning a powerful backroom political fixer and the corruption and destruction he induces in the Ontario government. Of course, ... it's all pure fiction. Of course.
