The B.C. New Democrats have released thousands of pages from documents in the B.C. Rail corruption trial. The files were obtained through Freedom of Information requests.
Leonard Krog, NDP Attorney General critic, is quoted in a party news release as saying:
"It has been more than five years since the unprecedented police raid on the Campbell government offices at the legislature and British Columbians are still waiting for answers.
"These documents shed some light on the B.C. Rail corruption scandal, and the public deserves to have access to this information.
"... If they really believed in openness and accountability, the Campbell Liberals would stop delaying the B.C. Rail corruption trial, and they would release the documents they're keeping a secret so that British Columbians can know what really happened."
The B.C. Rail Corruption Trial - Key Documents page is on the NDP website.
