Tyee Poll: Do You Think BC Should Change Its Pandemic Plan for Schools?

For teachers and parents, the back-to-school pandemic plan has been a point of significant concern.

Some parents have said it was a defining issue for them in the B.C. election.

Now, provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry has announced the province’s first school outbreak. But she maintains that the return to school has largely been a success, and that transmission in schools is not resulting in transmission in communities.

Yet some are concerned about what constitutes an outbreak. With this in mind, we want to ask:

Do you think B.C. should change its pandemic plan for schools?
