From our friends at The Common Sense Canadian: "World renowned climate activist, Bill McKibben, journeyed to Vancouver to speak at the "Our Coast, Our Decision" rally on March 26, 2012.
McKibben told the crowd of close to 2,000, "This is one of these great moments in human history and you guys are absolutely at the white, hot centre of it." The rally was organized on the 23rd anniversary of the Exxon Valdez oil spill to oppose both the Enbridge Northern Gateway Pipeline and Kinder Morgan's planned expansion to its Trans Mountain pipeline to Vancouver.
