Tyee Poll: Do You Try to Eat Local Where You Live?

Last weekend, we completed our series the 100-Mile Diet Turns 15, following Alisa Smith and J.B. MacKinnon’s 2005 project to eat food produced only within 100 miles of their home.

In the decade and a half since, we’ve come to thinking a lot more about organic, locally-sourced food, and it’s become a lot easier to get. We no longer need to head to farmers markets to find fresh local produce (though we encourage that choice when you have the opportunity).

But depending on where you live, eating local can be difficult. Sometimes we need to look a little further to access locally-sourced food.

With this in mind, we wanted to ask: Do you try to eat local where you live?
