Bill Tieleman really stirred up the dust in drought-parched British Columbia this week with his column on the province selling dirt cheap water to both Nestle and oil fracking companies.

With forest fires raging and large sections of B.C. already facing usage restrictions, Tyee readers raged over the province's sale of water for a paltry $2.25 per million litres for industrial and commercial use.
