Tyee Poll: Who Will Be the U.S. Democratic Nominee?

Whether you had no idea until now that U.S. Democrats have been engaged in a primary for over a year or have been paying excruciating attention already, the question of who Donald Trump will face in the 2020 U.S. presidential election has probably been on your mind since 2016.

Doug Ward has been down south pondering the question and reporting on the political kerfuffle that is the Democratic race.

As a Canadian and political tourist at the Iowa Caucus and the New Hampshire primary, he observed how the American left and centre are hashing out their differences underneath the big-tent coalition of the Democratic Party, and how that compares to the Canadian context.

In his piece, Ward had some thoughts on whether Democrats can ultimately unite to beat Trump.

It got us wondering what you think: Who do you think will be the U.S Democratic presidential nominee?
