Josh Kozelj is a Vancouver-based freelance journalist who has written for the New York Times, the Globe and Mail and Complex. He was the inaugural Hummingbird fellow with The Tyee.
He enjoys writing about sports, the environment and people — specifically how they might represent a wider theme in society. When he’s not typing words into a laptop, you’ll see him running around Vancouver or reading a book. Although he’s a morning person, he tends to write better at night.
