Michael LaPointe

Michael LaPointe (b. 1987) is a writer living in Vancouver, British Columbia. He has served as Books Editor of The Tyee, as well as Reviews Editor of Discorder and News Editor of Tooth & Dagger. In 2009 he received his BA in English Literature from the University of British Columbia, where he directed a seminar on Shakespeare and Star Trek: The Next Generation. In 2011, he served as Associate Editor for a book of essays and criticism in collaboration with The Cheaper Show. His journalism and criticism have appeared in The Globe and Mail, The Tyee, and Color, among others. His short fiction has appeared in Weekday and Joyland.
