Men in the construction, forestry and transportation industry continue to be overrepresented in drug poisoning deaths in British Columbia.
The Vancouver Island Construction Association’s Tailgate Toolkit Harm Reduction Program is an innovative program aimed at increasing access to harm reduction services and ideas for those working in the construction industry.
Through our work, we’ve distributed over 430 naloxone kits, facilitated over 120 on-site talks to over 2,500 participants and distributed more than 4,800 resources materials across the province.
