Jeannine Mitchell, originally from Vancouver, has worked across Canada and abroad.
Her writing has won national awards, appearing in a wide range of publications, including the Toronto Star, South China Morning Post, Georgia Straight, Financial Post, This magazine, Montreal Gazette, Vancouver Sun, Moneysense, Macleans.ca, BC Business and Hotwired.com. She has also worked in radio (CBC and CFRO).
As a community organizer, she served as Cineworks coordinator, in environmental projects, co-founded Canada’s first women’s bookstore and founded Student Finance 101. At present, she’s director of Not Just Tourists Vancouver.
