Jacob Aron Leung

Jacob Aron Leung is a queer, disabled writer with cerebral palsy. He loves unravelling the stories of communities — a love he discovered while taking anthropology electives at Langara College — which eventually led him to journalism. He got his first taste of local reporting with the student newspaper the Langara Voice, where he reported on the lack of LGBTQ2S+ representation on Coquitlam advisory committees.

Outside of local news reporting, Jacob indulges in his hobbies. These include creative writing, video games and K-Pop. His work has been featured in publications like What’s on Queer BC and the U.S.-based K-pop magazine, the Kraze. You can find him at @jacobaronleung on X and Instagram.
