Erin Blondeau

Erin Blondeau is a Métis mom currently living and working in the Quw'utsun (Cowichan) Valley. Her paternal ancestry is Métis from the Red River Settlement and maternal ancestry is British and Eastern European. Working in communications for over a decade, Blondeau discovered a special interest in researching and writing about populism, conspiracy theories, and climate justice.
 After she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in anthropology, Blondeau worked for Indigenous Climate Action and eventually settled in to work as a freelance journalist, writer, and the Director of Communications at the Climate Emergency Unit.
