Chantelle Spicer (she/they) is the campaign manager for the BC Poverty Reduction Coalition. They have been a grassroots organizer at the intersections of Indigenous sovereignty, anti-violence, workers' rights and affordable and accessible education for over 10 years.
Spicer holds a master's degree in anthropology from Simon Fraser University, which focused on Indigenous-centred practices of co-management in parks.
They are grateful to enter into policy-making spaces through the BC Poverty Reduction Coalition from this balance of advocacy and academic work.
