Walter Benjamin would have been underwhelmed by this "homophonic translation".
It totally betrays his spirit of grace and subtlety of mind.
It's a bit like spicing up a plate of ravioli with human shit, for the purpose of making a stylistic statement.

Furthermore it's a perfect example of how unprincipled poets crassly hijack the image of a great cultural figure for purposes of rank self-promotion.
