Premier Gordon Campbell was evacuated from a Vancouver hotel after a woman with a gun appeared nearby, according to an account published on The Vancouver Sun website.

Campbell was reportedly being interviewed by columnist Miro Cernetig when the brief incident occurred.

The woman was not targeting Campbell, according to Cernetig's report, and the B.C. Liberal Party leader was not hurt.
