The tables below list the seven electoral districts in Battleground BC's North-Central Surrey region, with the average household income from the 2001 census, ranked from highest to lowest, for each riding.

The first table also shows the percentage of the popular vote in the 2001 general election won by the BC Liberal party; the second shows the New Democratic Party's vote-shares.

There appears to be a correlation between income and voting in this region, insofar as the BC Liberals won 60.5% in Delta North and 61.0% of the vote in Surrey-Tynehead, the two ridings with the highest average household incomes, and a mere 45.7% in Surrey-Whalley, which has the lowest average household income in the region.

The opposite is true for the NDP. Province-wide in 2001, the New Democrats received 21.6% of the vote; but in Surrey-Green Timbers and Surrey-Whalley, the ridings with the lowest average household incomes in this region, the party obtained 36.3% and 31.0% respectively.
