CBC reports that Lieutenant-Governor Steven Point’s home on the Sto:lo First Nation reserve burned down on Sunday night, and arson is suspected.

No one was home at the time, but firefighters say they have clear evidence that the fire was set:

Sto:lo Grand Chief Clarence Penner said a relative of one of his staff members saw the burned home.

"One of my workers, her cousin went over and figured that they had started fires around the house," he said.
