Curious about how things really work behind the scenes at the legislature? Just in time for the provincial election on May 14, learn how much power individual MLAs have.
Award-winning journalist Sean Holman threw his investigative muscle behind this documentary that reveals the ins and outs of party discipline. According to him, Whipped is "a documentary about the secret world of party discipline, which forces MLAs to vote against their constituents and even their own conscience."
Holman is an assistant professor of journalism at Mount Royal University and is best known for his provincial politics news website Public Eye Online. He also led a Tyee Master Class last year.
