Quick, make your donation! We're juuuuuuuuuuuust about out of time.

(If you've already done so, our warmest thanks! If you want to help us even more, please forward this to others you think might be interested.)

We're nearing the end of our fundraising drive for The Tyee's Investigative and Reporting Fellowships and, frankly, we're just a bit nervous.

There are just FOUR days left, and we're still $1,000 away from reaching our goal of $10,000 by Friday, June 11th.

Please take a moment to give what you can -- and tell us what issues you want to see the winning journalists tackle.

Help support the top-notch reporting we all need. Give today and prove that people-powered media works!

There's also a great contest to enter: three winners will each receive a $100 gift certificate to Red Cat Records and $100 worth of new titles from D&M and New Society Books!

There are three ways to donate, and we gratefully accept all sizes and types of donation:

ONLINE: Make a secure tax-deductible donation online here.

MAIL: Download this form to make a cheque or credit card donation.

PHONE: Call Rachel Rocco at Tides Canada Foundation to donate by credit card: 604-647-6611.

What are the Tyee Reporting Fellowships?

There are two. One is for investigative reporting. The other is for solutions reporting. (You choose which gets your donation by going to this page.)

Any journalist can apply for a fellowship by proposing projects to an independent, blue-ribbon panel. The panel selects the best, who are awarded $5,000 grants.

The projects must shed light on critical issues for British Columbians, with the aim of educating the citizenry.

The reporting must be investigative or focused on solutions to social and environmental challenges.

The Tyee publishes the resulting work, and shares it for free with other publications, with approval of the author.

Result: You are able to directly fund the kind of journalism you crave: hard hitting, independent, educational.

And be confident that it is connecting with ten of thousands of people, making a real impact.

Want to know more about the Tyee Reporting Fellowships? Right this way!

Thanks so much! [Tyee]
