Tyee Poll: How Are Trudeau’s Liberals Going to Try and Survive This?

Jaws dropped across the country as Jody Wilson-Raybould gave her astonishing testimony on Feb. 27.

The former minister of Justice and Attorney General revealed claims of attempted political interference from multiple people in the government — including members of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s office — in the SNC-Lavalin matter.

The efforts were to secure a Deferred Prosecution Agreement (DPA), which would allow SNC-Lavalin to avoid criminal prosecution over bribery allegations, with frequent mentions of lost jobs and an upcoming election in Quebec.

We’re still trying to scoop our mouths off of the ground, but while we’re at it, we’re wondering: How are Trudeau’s Liberals going to try and get out of this?
