Tyee Poll: Will Trudeau’s Liberals Win It Again in October?

Tyee contributing editor Michael Harris wrote this week about the state of the Liberal Party of Canada’s support as it heads into the 2019 federal election.

Harris predicts that despite the staining of Trudeau’s credibility and reputation in the last four years, and the absence this election of Stephen Harper as a political foil/heel, his party is likely to retain power. According to Harris, this is because both opposition leaders — the Conservatives’ Andrew Scheer and the NDP’s Jagmeet Singh — don’t pose enough of a threat.

Trudeau might have broken a lot of promises, but he’ll still win, Harris argues.

We’re wondering what you think. At this point, do you think Trudeau’s Liberals will win again in the 2019 federal election?
