Tyee Poll: What Are You Doing About Reconciliation?

Our Journalists for Human Rights intern Emilee Gilpin explored an important question in a recent piece: how can we achieve reconciliation beyond simple rhetoric? How is reconciliation pursued after the celebrations and events end?

Chief Robert Joseph of Reconciliation Canada shared about the importance of education in another Tyee story. Education can help eliminate the racism against and stereotypes of Indigenous peoples still around today.

“It’s all about learning and listening,” Joseph said.
