Tyee Poll: Which of BC’s New Ministers Has the Biggest Job Ahead?

After an unusual wait after the May 9 election, we finally have a new government in office.

B.C. Premier John Horgan was sworn in, along with a cabinet that boasts gender-parity, new and veteran MLAs, and ethnic diversity.

You might recognize some new cabinet minister titles since the BC Liberals were in power. The Minister of Environment is now the Minister of Environment and Climate Change. The Minister of Social Development and Social Innovation is now the Minister of Social Development and Poverty Reduction. We have a new Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing as well as a Minister of Childcare.

There’s a lot to be done – Horgan himself ended his first speech as premier with an emphatic “Let’s go!”

We’re wondering where you think the biggest challenge lies.
