Tyee Poll: What Will Christy Clark’s Theme Song Be This Convention?

This weekend, the BC Liberals are hosting their 2016 convention in Vancouver. It will be their last party-wide gathering before the provincial election in May 2017.

The Tyee’s legislative bureau chief Andrew MacLeod will be attending the convention. When he was there two years ago, Pharrell Williams’ “Happy” was Christy Clark’s theme song.

For those of you who didn’t have a child in your home repeatedly singing the sugary radio tune, you can find the four minute music video here, and the 24-hour hour music video here (this experience is not recommended by The Tyee).

Considering how mainstream the BC Liberals’ song choice was last time, we’re wondering what billboard hit might play this time when Clark meets her supporters. Here are a few of our guesses. We’d love to hear yours, too.
