Third time's a charm for The Tyee Chumbucket podcast?
In today's episode, we take to the streets for Casseroles Night in Vancouver, one of a few protests in support of Montreal students. Hear from some of the city's pot-and-spoon bangers, and one guy with a foghorn. And no, we're not sure that's allowed.
We also talk to 11 year-olds Mia and Jasper, who held a cupcake bake sale in order to purchase a newspaper advertisement calling for a moratorium on tankers and pipelines on B.C.'s coast. The ad is scheduled to appear in the Province newspaper in the next few weeks. We hold Mia and Jasper's feet to the fire in the second half of our podcast.
Hope you enjoy this edition of the podcast. We think it makes a great paddle boarding accompaniment... if you're into that kind of thing.
Until next time listeners, and don't be afraid to email feedback at [email protected].
