Tyee Poll: Are You Concerned about Rising Support for Canada’s Far-Right Parties?

The outcome of the federal election put us in pretty much the same place, with seat gains and losses countable on one hand.

But the popular vote for the smaller parties showed us something different: most notably that the People’s Party of Canada, once on the fringe, earned support double that of the Greens.

With both the Liberals and Conservatives campaigning close to the centre this election, Maxime Bernier’s far-right party swept up support from Canadians across the country by touting individual freedom over community vaccination, and denying the severe threat of climate change. With this in mind, we want to ask:

Are you concerned about rising support for Canada’s far-right parties?
