Premier John Horgan recently announced the continuation of the Site C dam — a project now scheduled to be complete in 2024.
The once $8-billion project has ballooned to a new budget of $16 billion, and experts project it won't be completed for less than $20 billion. The NDP government opted to continue the project in 2017, asserting that it was at a point of no return.
We may be deep in losses — but many agree it's not too deep to get out. With this in mind, we want to ask:
How big do you think the budget will balloon in order to complete the Site C dam?
