Tyee Poll: What's the Best Way to Boost BC's Local Election Turnout?

On Saturday, Nov. 15, British Columbians will cast their votes in 162 municipalities, electing local mayors and council from Cranbrook to Victoria, Surrey to Prince Rupert.

Last time around in 2011, voter turnout clocked at about 30 per cent province-wide. Square that with Toronto's recent elections, with drew about 60 per cent of eligible voters.
