Tyee Poll: Roughly What Do You Pay for Child Care?

In his story last week on the federal NDP's proposal for a $15-per-day national child care program, The Tyee's Jeremy Nuttall cited a study that found child care costs in Canada can climb up to $1,000 each month per child, depending on the region.

Readers immediately responded, with some insisting they pay, or have paid, significantly more than that amount, at least in Vancouver.

We're curious: approximately how much do you pay each month for child care, per child?

Obviously the cost is determined by the arrangement: parents may employ daycare, nannies, energetic grandparents, some combination of these, or stay at home.

So after you select the range that you pay, tell us how you spend it. Does it all go to daycare? Do babysitters siphon off a little? We want to know your story.
