Tyee Poll: Which Part of Canada Is Most Likely to Secede?

Earlier this month, Scotland held a vote to decide if the country would stay a part of the United Kingdom or secede as its own sovereign state. It was a tight race, but with only 45 per cent of voters in favour of independence, the Scots failed to become the world's newest country.

Quebec had a similar referendum back in 1995, which just barely fell short of secession with 49.5 per cent of the vote. It was Canada's closest attempt at independence -- though many other enclaves in British Columbia sporting their own flag and currency may feel closer to the separatist dream.

In light of Scotland's push for self-governance, which of these Canadian entities do you think is most likely to become its own sovereign state?
