The Fall 2015 Master Class Series

Tyee Master Classes 2015 Proudly Presents Memecamp! How to Create Content that Inspires Change with Heather Libby

What will I learn?

Looking to make a splash on social media? Simple, well-timed graphics have the power to take your message far and wide. In this master class, join master communicator Heather Libby and learn how to create powerful shareable graphics that your online community will love to share.

Participants will learn how to determine which visuals to use for different communities, how to create striking, shareable digital content, and how to get it out into the world.

Who’s it for?

Anyone who wants to see their content go the distance online.

What should I bring?

Something to take notes with, and a message or campaign in mind that you’d like to create visuals for. A laptop or tablet with wifi capabilities is a bonus, but not 100% necessary.

Who is Heather?

Heather Libby is a writer, graphic/infographic designer and digital content specialist. She’s spent most of the past decade online helping progressive organizations fight battles that matter. Her most successful infographics, visuals and videos (including 2012’s viral mega-hit ‘Weathergirl Goes Rogue’) have been viewed millions of times and are regularly featured on Upworthy, ThinkProgress and hundreds of other online publications. As one half of Deep Rogue Ram, she was nominated for an Environmental Media Award for best digital content, but lost to actual astronauts. Nonetheless, her mother is very proud.
