What lies behind these fabulous doors from around the province?
Do they reveal or conceal?
Beckon or bar?
A doorway represents a boundary, a point of transition, a potential opening. When we cross a threshold, how different is the world we enter from the one we leave behind?
Here are doors that give us a special glimpse into the vibrant colours and textures that are tucked away in our own hometowns or in places we've yet to visit or fully explore.
Whether transformed by time or the human hand, each bears the signature of its inhabitants, location and history. Whimsy, elegance and beauty can be found in unexpected places.
