Oops, Corrections

Thanks to sharp-eyed Tyee readers, two errors were discovered in Battleground B.C.'s daily updates.

First, Harry Lali, NDP MLA for Yale-Lillooet from 1991 to 2001, was not defeated in the 2001 general election; he retired. Lali now is making an attempted comeback in his old riding.

Second, Lyall Hanson, elected MLA for Okanagan North under the Social Credit banner in 1986, and re-elected in Okanagan-Vernon in 1991, later joined the Reform caucus but did not seek re-election in 1996. He, too, opted for retirement.
