The Hook: Political news, freshly caught

Reporters, take your positions. . .

With less than an hour to go before the polls close, B.C. media are ready and waiting in newsrooms and election headquarters.

The B.C. political Twittersphere offers a glimpse of what it's like ahead of the frenzy that begins once election results start rolling in, likely just minutes after 8 p.m.

Most of the action is concentrated at the NDP and Liberals headquarters, at the Vancouver Convention Centre and the Vancouver Wall Centre, respectively:

The Tyee has reporters Andrew MacLeod and Doug Ward stationed at both of these parties. Geoff Dembicki is reporting from Green candidate Andrew Weaver's campaign headquarters in Oak Bay-Gordon Head, David P. Ball will post updates from the Conservative's campaign headquarters in Langley, and Katie Hyslop is covering David Eby's campaign headquarters in Vancouver-Point Grey
