At 9:10 p.m., CTV BC projected a Liberal election victory with the Liberals leading in 50 ridings of the 85 ridings. Six minutes later, the network declared the Liberals had won the election.
At 9:33 p.m., Global B.C. declared a Liberal government and at 9:44 p.m. called a Liberal majority government.
At 9:37 p.m., CBC TV declared a Liberal government but said it was too soon to say whether it would be a majority or minority government.
At 9:56 p.m., CBC TV called a Liberal majority government.
