R.J. Aquino is presently on the Vancouver City Planning Commission, member of the board of directors of Collingwood Neighbourhood House, and co-founder of Tulayan. His civic and political involvement started when he was compelled to contribute to the Filipino community in British Columbia after finding out fatherhood was imminent.
